It was 2015, I was referred to a client to help them out Feng Shui wise. The house had very bad form, untimely energies, along with blocked wealth. The client told me they felt that for every step they took forward, they seem to be forced to then take two steps backward. They were slipping fast. I met with them and we talked about their lives since moving into the home.
The husband was self employed and before this house had 5 major clients giving him all the work he could handle. His business was doing so well he managed to save enough for down payment on a new home which he bought from a new home builder. The bad Qi started immediately after taking possession of the home. After all the paper work was completed, and they were days from moving into their new home the builder contacted them to tell them there was a mistake. The home they just purchased was 46 square meters smaller than they were told. They had the option of cancelling or continuing. However, due to being that late in the game, they were forced to move forward.
It was 62 days after moving in that the man had an accident that totaled his car, the wife had her car accident several months later. The wife too totaled her car. There was an annual influence that triggered that, but the main energies at the front of the home were not “fixable” and it was not going to go away. The narrow shape of the house was also considered inauspicious especially when filled with untimely Qi of this Time Period.
By the second year it was obvious that things were not the same here in this new home as in their last. Money was diminishing faster than it was coming in. My advice after reviewing all their options was for them to move. The sad fact is not all homes are fixable for all people. Actually trying to fix a bad home is like trying to be someone you are not, and even if you can get it going it will not last as it is not what it is.
Now by this time they were heavily in debt. We listed the home with a quick sale price, using date selection. I did the staging for free and it looked amazing. It sold quickly. We looked at how much money was left after paying off the debt to buy the next home. It was clear that further concessions would have to be made.
The reality was that their options meant they had to downsize as well. They would be leaving their 185 square meter home and moving down to a 140 square foot home (and yes 45 sq feet is a lot when talking this size). Money was tight. In addition they were forced to leave the city boundaries and move to the suburbs to find an affordable unit without having to lower their standard of living.
Anyway long story short. We had a hard time finding one using my normal methods. I had been playing with a land form technique called Later Heaven Water Method. My normal method deals more with time, this method uses water flow.
It was new way of practice for me at the time. However, with their current financial condition being what it was, and time running out, they agreed to give it a try. If it didn’t work, they were willing to move again the following year. That was 2015.
Today in 2019 they have absolutely no plans on moving. Since moving into that home, business is very good once again. Could this be consequence? I don’t think so, as I have seen too many such cases to not believe something is “afoot”.
Well what about the people buying the “bad” Feng Shui house? You may be wondering. This is how I look at it. Just because a home is bad for one person, does not mean it will be bad for another. The way a home will affect a person depends on what they do for a living, when they were born, weather they are male of female, and how they will use a space. It also can help someone in a phase in their life where a lesson needs to be learned. In that respect then there are not so many “bad” houses. Like they say about “trash” it can be another person’s “treasure”.
