How Qi Planning Helped Save a Family Relationship

Adult daughter and mother embracing.

Have you ever wondered why you just don’t like some people?  They do not even have to open their mouths for you to have that “I don’t even want to know them feeling”.  Well, there is a reason for that.  Let me explain with a story about one of my clients.

My client’s daughter asked me to look at her destiny astrology chart.  I told her that I do not do that type of work but since I can see a few things in a chart, and because her mother is a client of mine, I agreed to take a look.

The first thing that popped out at me was that her relationship with her mother might not be good.  I asked and she confirmed my suspicions.  She told me she has tried her whole life to please her mother but never was able to connect. She knew her mother loved her, but she also knew her mother did not like her.  Looking at her chart, I could see the reason right away.  They were in a “clash” situation.  The mother was a Rabbit and the child was a Rooster.  One is wood and one is metal, and as you can image metal cuts wood.

In addition to their animal Qi clash they also had a personal trigram clash.  We all have these two personalities.  One is the outer one, the personal trigram; this is the character everyone sees as “You”.  It is based on the year you were born and your gender.  The other personality is the Qi of the day, hour, month and year you were born.  This is the qi that is the “real” you.  In this case both the outer and inner Qi types were in a clash. Outer was earth and water, and the inner was metal and wood.

They had opposite personalities. I suggested that they try activities related to the elemental water Qi type.  This would put their relationship in a generating Qi flow sequence instead of the controlling sequence it is being ruled by.  One way they can do that is to take a trip together, that the daughter will organize and put together.

They decided to try my suggestion and that was a couple of years ago.  They now are aware of their differences and they work on the bridging of these clashing personalities.  They have now been on two trips since then and this whole experience has brought them together.

They accept that they are different people and they accept that will not change.  They have made a conscience effort to “bridge”  instead of “control” their relationship.  It was the “Knowing” that allowed the “Mending” to take place. Life is easier when you can understand why something is happening to you and can follow time proven techniques to make it better.

The daughter recently contacted me to thank me for helping her understand that there was a logical reason and that it was fixable.  Today Mother and Daughter have a loving and liking relationship thanks to QiPlanning
