A few years back, a client asked me for a Feng Shui Inspection of their home. The husband was passing blood in his urine and the doctors were not able to find the problem. The clients also mentioned that they were waking up nightly to what appeared to be a woman and her child standing at the foot of their bed. It was starting to bother them.
The couple had lived in the house for the past 10 years. They claimed apparitions came and went throughout that period, but now they seemed to be getting more frequent. When I checked the real estate records, I found that this house had 5 previous owners who each sold within 1 year of ownership, and at a financial loss. It seemed every new owner wanted to get out of the house as fast as possible. My clients, however, it turns out, were special.
In Feng Shui studies we are told there are certain directions that are said to be on special lines. These spaces can be a welcoming place for yang spirits, who are attracted to yin spaces. Spirits can further be enhanced by placing wind chimes in energy combinations that enhance this phenomenon. This is what my clients had unconsciously done.
I prepared my Qi map, and made my recommendations. The husband had been sleeping on a “fire energy” wall that was enhanced by “fire energy” (pointed) forms. I moved the husband a “wood gua” person from the energy (it was “burning” him up) and moved him to an energy that was enhancing him instead. The doctors could not explain it when his condition started to improve.
As for the ghost problem, I suggested that they make the place very yang by leaving the lights on and playing music throughout the night. For a while the problem stopped. Then I got another call. The woman and child spirit where no longer coming. Instead, they were now seeing large men and large dogs.
I was starting to think this was over my head and I suggested that they talk to a priest or a monk. Then they started to tell me about their life. Ever since the husband was a small child he was visited by spirits. Then the wife told me that in their last house, she also had ghosts. She had asked them to stay out of the bedroom, but it was ok for them to stay in the other part of the house. The apparitions continued, so she sold that house and bought this one. It was starting to appear that this couple was in a house fitting their destiny. They told me they are ok with living with gentle spirits, but did not like what was visiting now.
I suggested that they turn off the night music and lights and continue as before. Soon after the men spirits left, and the woman and child from before returned. As far as I know, they are still visiting this family.
Further research into this property leads me to believe, that in addition to being on a void line, this property may have also been on or near the ancient Indian burial ground of the Lake Ontario Iroquois’ 1125c
