About Period 9

What about Period 9? Everyone wants to know. It is a big event it seems with all the attention it is getting. Some wonder too if it has not already come about. Like one of the FB bloggers who shares his research that he claims puts Period 9 coming in at 2020. Not 2024?
Others say that is nonsense. Master Blogger says that he registered the cosmic influence of planets and the time is off by 4 years. We teach that time is a cosmic affair. It happens when the earth passes the sun at the exact point of Li Chun; first day of spring in the Great Sun Formula.
Aside from the cosmic influence with its problems with Jupiter and Saturn lining up just right every 20 years. To get around this problem in Flying Stars Feng Shui, is to use math. In Feng Shui we talk about time in cycles. This is fundamentally the study of time.
Now, when we study the Luo Shu, we say that 9 period stars can also form a cycle. 9 is a cycle, 60 is a cycle, then mathematically it is quite simple. It is the smallest number of years that can cover the 60 year cycle and the 9 Star Cycle. This is mathematically based.
Now all this is only for flying stars. For Xuan Kong Da Gua, that is something else again, and the timing is based on Trigram yin yang yaos (lines) to calculate time. A Yin Yao is 6 and a Yang yao is 9. So Period nine is Qian trigram and it has 3 Yang lines, so it will start at 2017 and end in 27 years or 2044. But because of math the next period will be only 18 years for period 1, as da gua changes to Kun and Kun has 3 Yin lines valued at 6.
Then for 8 House Feng Shui it observes only stem branch 60 Jia Zi. Others follow Na Yin which is another way of looking at time with stems and branches. Then there is san he people, the ones who study only the earth mountains and waters, well they do not look at time at all.
So why all the hoopla for the Flying Stars change? A lot of Feng Shui masters hardly even look at flying stars. Some don’t even think it is an authentic Feng Shui school at all. It is relatively new compared, to say, the san he school.
So from all this preamble, it appears that period 9 is already here. So we already have a good taste as to what is going to be for the next 20 years. We see it in the news all the time now.
Red. Wars, blood, passion, electricity, radiating influences, middle aged woman, education, hi tech, beauty flashing. These are key words. You already see this happening big time. All this new AI stuff too (hi tech), but did you know that AI Intelligence and Metaphysics has a mutual beginning? They both share the same first 60 hexagrams/codes.
Ok, but what we really want to know is how to be prepare for the new era to get the best it has to offer?
The simple answer is, the same thing you did to get ready for Period 5, 6, 7, or 8. You naturally adjusted to its way of life. That is because this is a universal qi. It does not happen to only those that practice, it happens to every living sole. Isn’t it uncanny how we all progress with the same thoughts and patterns at sort of the same time? It affects our life force. It is the Qi inside our bodies.
Ok, so what about the house you ask? The house will now be welcoming fire qi. It is welcoming fame and fortune, academics, new tech gadgets.
But what if you are in one of those “locked” houses where the 9 is in the center and not useable?
If you have a Period 8 house facing northwest, Period 7 facing southwest, Period 6 facing northeast, Period 5 facing south, you have a blocked 9 water star. This is considered very bad by many. It is better to have the 9 water freely moving in the home, but it is not absolutely necessary to live in good health and wealth.
Remember all stars are useable. So if you have the stars you need to support YOUR health and YOUR wealth, then you will be ok. No worries. Even all the other directions that do have access to the ruling energy may not have access to it.….does it actually come in? I find the most problems I encounter is not that there is a “locked” ruler, but that there is a “blocked” ruler.
“Locked” is when it is in the center. The stars in the center DO NOT work. They are there in name only. Their only function is to tell the other stars where to travel. A “blocked” star is one that is available, but for some reason cannot adequately enter the house and be useful.
So to sleep, sleep with a mountain star that supports you (same as) or that generates you. Avoid ones that control you (you being your ming gua; your guardian angle that protects you from sha qi).
If you are coming into a Period 9 house, meaning a house built during period 9; 1824 to 1863, or 2024 to 2044, then you need to be mindful of all the fire formations. 2,+7 is He Tu for fire, when it is found with the 9 or with a 9, + 5, then you need to be very mindful of fires. Period 9 loves fires, be prepared for fires in and around the property. Also, be mindful of 9 and 1 as it can bring on dizziness and eye problems. Be mindful too of blood disorders like anemia, hemophilia, leukemia, lymphoma, and Platelet disorders.
Be mindful of knife stabbings and hot tempers. Be mindful of people suffering, especially period 9 people, who may be more prone to suicide. The 9’s like to be a beacon for others. It is like they are always burning the candle at both ends. Their constant putting out can only go on so long. They need to be reminded of Me Time. But like I said earlier, it is a cosmic influence, so not only 9’s may feel like that, it can be all of us as a society. We care more now.
What you may also feel is that different areas are now looking a little different. In period 9, our Heaven flight formation changes from 8 as the prime directive to lead the other stars, now it is 9 the leader. The leader is always working with the base. The base is the earth chart. So where you are use to the 8 mixing with the 5 now it is with the 9. So what does that mean?
Well if we plot the chart over any area choosing the political center as its tai ji, then we can predict how each area of the geographical area will perform during the next 20 years: Here is a snapshot:
• North with 1 5 – good for Political center, political journalism. It will be an area that is strictly monitored.
• Northeast with 8 3 – sales, 8 is stable wealth, and 3 is action in sales, it will need some fire influence to work, but could be quite profitable as it is also He Tu for growth.
• East with 3 7 – 3 is related to carpentry and 7 to home improvements. Might be good for local hardware and lumber stores, trades and building projects architects and such. 3 and 7 is adding up to 10. work will be done with heart.
• Southeast with 4 8 – sales – real estate 8 is still money and 4 is entrepreneurial with 300% profit. Hand made goods will do well in this sector, spiritual retreats, places of worship.
• South with 9 4 – Personal Care – another Entrepreneurship or arts center and galleries, entertainment district; adult entertainment.
• Southwest with 2 6 – Healing practitioners and Health related industries will become authorities in their fields with the 2 health and 6 authority and corporate managers. Good place for credit unions and saving institutions.
• West with 7 2 – medical, reconstruction surgery, music arts, wellness and holistic services. Speech and vocal businesses. Fire Department. Law firms. Real Estate firms.
• Northwest with 6 1 like – Police and tourism, enforcement and management.
