This past July, Baby Eva, in an unlicensed, overcrowded daycare centre was found dead. Although the cause of death still has not been disclosed, the Department of Health’s inspection revealed Listeria was found in the food.
They also found dirty diapers disposed in the kitchen where the meals for the children were being prepared. They found deep pile carpets in the play areas that they felt could not be cleaned or sanitized properly for a daycare centre.
The Health Inspectors also said they found their discussion with the daycare’s operator, and home owner to reveal that she had little or no understanding of proper disinfection techniques for a daycare setting.
From a Feng Shui perspective, the first thing I see is:
- This home is smaller than the one next to it. It does not conform to its environment this prevents proper qi flow around the home.
- At the rear of the yard, where the children play is shown with overgrown vegetation, and has a dead tree.
- The space does not look kid friendly.
From the star chart a few serious issues jump out:
- At the main Qi mouth, the front door is #2. It is an untimely star and is known to cause sickness, especially sickness to the stomach (Listeria).
- The #3 together with the 8 is known to cause injury to children. In the back yard and the NE sector of this home there is a combination (#8 #3) bad for children.
- The other half of the backyard where the children’s toys are in the picture above, has an energy combinaton of (#3#7) together this combination can mean injury by a metal object and lawsuits.
- At the rear Qi mouth is the #3. The #3 by itself is also an untimely energy and can cause lawsuits. Not a good environment for children; too aggressive.
- The central harmony of the house is 5 and 9, and is known to cause confusion of the mind. It is also responsible for financial and health hazards due to impulsive behavior. This may have been played out by the fact that they had 27 children at this daycare and were only legally allowed to have 5. [In their adjacent property they had 14 dogs].
- It is very important to have the current timely energy flowing though a home. The current timely energy is required in every space to help control untimely energies/stars that visit all spaces. In this house that required energy is totally blocked. The energy in this home is both untimely and uncontrolled.
So the answer is no, Feng Shui cannot predict the death of a child, but it can give you enough warning signs that you should be alert to the possible risks.
To summarize, the “red flags” for this house are:
- the sickness star is at the front door,
- the current noble ruler cannot enter,
- a robbery and lawsuit energy is at the rear door,
- 1/8th of the house was harmful to children,
- 1/8th of the house with the possible metal injury,
- And the central harmony is confusion.
Using this as a guide, I would not have left my child in this house. The real advantage with a Feng Shui inspection is that you can see the energy of the house before you use it. Then you can decide how big of a risk is involved in your future use of a space.
