People living near a busy road can have an increased risk of Alzheimer. This is according to recent research being conducted at the department of Ontario Public Health. Hong Chen, the scientist who led the work, said: “roughly one in 10 cases of Alzheimer’s in urban areas could be associated with living amid heavy traffic.”
Feng Shui practitioners have known about the connection between busy routes and head problems for thousands of years. When we look at a location we look at the forms. In Feng Shui all forms can be classified into 8 categories.
Alzheimer is a disease that affects the head. In Feng Shui the head is classified as the #6 energy also known as Qian. The road and traffic is associated with the energy know as #1 or Kan. These two forms can lead to severe head conditions. Busy roads are not good for a number of issues and is known in the practice as “loveless Qi”.
Not all people are the same, as you know, so this condition can be easier felt on some more than others. If you are at type 1 or type 6 person than you may be able take this combination more than others. Like the CEO of a corporation in most cases is someone that can take this type of energy and thrive on it. But even the CEOs will have their limits. As Practitioners we take your energy type, your occupation, your environment and time into consideration when we do our consultations. This is just one of the many things we look at.
If you have no choice and you need to be near a busy roadway, you can try adding dense plants or greenery to block your space from the traffic. This can help divert the strong energy coming from the busy roads. This is just one way that Feng Shui can help you live a healthier lifestyle.
