House sells for $81,000 over asking. Was it the Home Staging or the Feng Shui Flow? The Globe and Mail newspaper, in their Done Deals section, recently wrote about a Home that was listed for $649,000, sold for $730,000, and was only on the market for 8 days. They said it was nicely staged. Here is what the news article didn’t tell you.
In 1997, the house sold for $245,000. It was renovated in 2003. It was put back on the market in 2007, and sold for $62,000 over asking price. The new owners put it back on the market in 2013 and it sells for $80,000 over asking price. Since the renovation this house has become a money making machine.
If we look at this house from a Real Estate point of view, we have a small 3 bedroom semi with 1 car parking around the corner from the house. The layout is an open concept; it was renovated 10 years ago with an updated kitchen and baths and 1 car parking.
If we look at it from a Feng Shui point of view; it shows that this property is well supported on each side. It has prosperity (money making opportunity) energies both at the front door and the rear door. The front door is further enhanced by the fact that it has a meandering “watercourse” (the roadway) coming right into the front door enhancing the energy.
What is interesting between looking at the two Qi maps is that the pre-renovated map was bad for money, and the new chart is good for money. In 1997 when the house sold for $245,000, it had a series problem; the ruler of that period was unable to enter the space.
Things change in 2007 when the ruler can not only enter, but it is also teamed up with the prosperity energy at the front door to produce two dynamic wealth producing energies. We see this played out when we look at the previous selling prices; each time averaging over $70,000 ABOVE asking price.
